NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude closes week with slight losses; nat gas rallies
HOUSTON, September 16 2016 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.88/bbl to $43.03/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.66/bbl to $45.86/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.24/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.1 cents at $2.948/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4616/gal, up 3.14 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 12.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 12.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 13.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell to 10.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.09/bbl, $4.48/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
