NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with slight gains; nat gas falters
HOUSTON, September 19, 2016 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.27/bbl to $43.30/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.35/bbl to $46.21/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.15/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.4 cents at $2.934/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4208/gal, down 4.08 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 6.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 12.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 13.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 7.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.53/bbl, $4.47/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
