NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas extend gains
HOUSTON, September 21 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.29/bbl to $45.34/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.08/bbl to $46.93/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.59/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.0 cents at $3.057/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3990/gal, up 3.44 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 14.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 13.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.86/bbl, $2.18/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
