NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas both fall
HOUSTON, September 23, 2016 (PCW) -- November NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.84/bbl at $44.48/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.54 to $45.91/bbl. The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.43/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.5 cents at $2.955/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at 137.69 cpg, down 0.28 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Thursday's levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 15.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 15.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.22/bbl, $1.76/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
