NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude sees strong rally; Oct nat gas expires lower
HOUSTON, September 28, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.38/bbl to $47.05/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.62/bbl to $48.61/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.56/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.4 cents at $2.952/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4777/gal, up 8.40 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 0.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was down at 17.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 16.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell to 1.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.34/bbl, $1.06 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
