NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil closes above $48, nat gas plunges
HOUSTON, September 30, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.41/BBL, to $48.24. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.01 to $49.21.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.97/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.3 cents at $2.906/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.46874 pg, up 2.06 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were lower versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 12.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 12.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.50/bbl, $1.50 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
