NGL production up 2% month-on-month in July: EIA data
HOUSTON, September 30, 2016 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids production rose 2.224 million barrels to 110.754 million barrels (3.57 million b/d) in July from June, according to EIA data released Friday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to surpass that of propane/propylene coming in at 40.189 million barrels (1.3 million b/d), down 1.215 million barrels from June. Propane/propylene production rose 1.509 million barrels to 36.225 million barrels (1.17 million b/d).
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 10.049 million barrels (324,161 b/d), up 714,000 barrels from June;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: 9.876 million barrels (318,581 b/d), an increase of 211,000 barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 14.415 million barrels (465,000 b/d), a 1 million barrel rise.
