NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline close week with steep losses

HOUSTON, September 9, 2016 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.74/bbl to $45.88/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.91/bbl to $48.07/bbl.

The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.61/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.9 cents at $2.797/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3611/gal, down 5.54 cpg.

 US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Thursday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.03/bbl, $2.23/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
