June NGL production down 2.4% month-on-month
HOUSTON, September 1, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids fell rose 2.802 million barrels, or 2.4%, in June to 112.548 million barrels (3.752 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released late Thursday. Starting with this release, the EIA now no longer groups NGL data with petrochemicals.
Ethane production came in at 42.351 million barrels (1.41 million b/d), down 1.19 million barrels from May. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 36.481million barrels (1.22 million b/d) in June, down 1.056 million barrels from May.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane: 8.509 million barrels (283,633 b/d), down 264,000 barrels from May;
· Isobutane: 11.211 million barrels (373,700 b/d), a decrease of 381,000 barrels;
· Natural gasoline: 13.996 million barrels (466,533 b/d), a 90,000 barrel increase.
