June NGL exports down 11%: EIA
HOUSTON, September 1, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids exports fell 4.54 million barrels to 36.745 million barrels (1.22 million b/d) in June compared to May.
Starting with this release, the EIA now no longer groups NGL data with petrochemicals.
Propane exports fell 4.246 million barrels in June to 22.261 million barrels (742,033 b/d). Ethane exports were down 2.348 million barrels month-on-month to 3.586 million barrels (119,533 b/d) in May. Butane exports came in at 4.629 million barrels (154,300 b/d), up 1.484 million barrels from May.
Other NGLs’ export data is as follows:
· Isobutane: up 145,000 barrels in May to 246,000 barrels (7,935 b/d);
· Natural gasoline: 6.19 million barrels (206,333 b/d), a 737,000 barrel increase.
