NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude opens week with gains; nat gas, gasoline falter
HOUSTON, September 5 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.37/bbl to $48.66/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.00/bbl at $53.34/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed $4.20/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 9.8 cents at $ 2.972 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6991 gal, down 4.88 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Friday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 17.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 87 was firm at 25.00 cpg over the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 41.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was steady at 41.75 over the screen.
BOB was softer at 22.75 cpg over the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $25.36 bbl, $1.97/bbl over the screen. – John Troland
