NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas move up; gasoline continues to soften
HOUSTON, September 6 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.50/bbl to $49.16/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.75/bbl at $54.09/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened $4.247/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.8 cents at $ 3.000 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6733 gal, down 2.58 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Monday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 14.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 87 was lower at 20.50 cpg over the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was down at 41.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was stronger at 44.75 over the screen.
BOB fell to 17.50 cpg over the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $23.75 bbl, $1.42/bbl over the screen. – John Troland
