NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude moves in mixed directions; nat gas, gasoline sink
HOUSTON, September 7 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.07/bbl to $49.09/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.35/bbl at $54.44/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened $4.91/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.9 cents at $ 2.981 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6610 gal, down 1.23 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 15.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 18.25 cpg over the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was down at 39.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 42.50 over the screen.
RBOB fell to 15.25 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $24.00 bbl, $1.58/bbl over the screen. – John Troland
