NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas move up; gasoline softens
HOUSTON, September 14 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.59/bbl to $49.89/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.28/bbl at $55.50/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed $5.15/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.2 cents at $ 3.070 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6287 gal, down 1.86 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 2.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 1.25 cpg over the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was down at 24.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 25.00 over the screen.
RBOB fell to flat to with the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $16.48 bbl, $4.12/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
