NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude mixed; nat gas, gasoline rise
HOUSTON, September 18 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.02/bbl at $49.89/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.14/bbl at $55.48/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed $5.13/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 12.2 cents at $ 3.146 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6686 gal, up 1.69 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mixed versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 20.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was softer at 15.00 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 0.25 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $16.56 bbl, $5.17/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
