US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, September 20, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 196,000 bbls (5.8%) to 3.182 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. It was the second consecutive weekly inventory draw, and the fourth drop in ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene inventories are still 358,000 bbls (12.7%) higher than four weeks ago because of a large increase in the week following Hurricane Harvey's landfall. US Gulf refinery utilization last week rebounded 12.7 percentage points to 73%. -- David Barry
