NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil tops $50, nat gas declines
HOUSTON, September 1202017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.93/bbl at $50.41/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.16/bbl at $56.16/bbl. The November Brent/WTI spread widened $5.47/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.8 cents at $ 3.094 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6551 gal, up 0.01 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.11 bbl, $7.12/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
