NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude closes mixed; nat gas, gasoline falter
HOUSTON, September 21, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.14/bbl at $50.55/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.20/bbl at $56.36/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.81/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 14.8 cents at $ 2.946 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6438 gal, down 1.13 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 14.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 12.50 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.89 bbl, $7.40/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
