NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with gains; nat gas falters
HOUSTON, September 25, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.56/bbl at $52.22/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.11/bbl at $58.97/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.75/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.0 cents at $ 2.919 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7220 gal, up 5.36 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was softer at 12.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 12.00 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.12 bbl, $9.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
