NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas rallies, gasoline softens
HOUSTON, September 27, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.26/bbl at $52.14/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.26/bbl at $57.91/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.77/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.6 cents at $ 2.974 mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6540 gal, down 4.48 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 10.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.66 bbl, $8.71/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
