July NGL production up 3.4% month-on-month, sets fresh all-time high
HOUSTON, September 29, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids rose 3.865 million barrels, or 34%, in July to 116.413 million barrels (3.76 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Friday. This marks a fresh all-time high, surpassing the 115.35 million barrels produced in May
Ethane production came in at 42.827 million barrels (1.38 million b/d), up 476,000 barrels from June. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 38.132 barrels (1.23 million b/d) in July, up 1.651 million barrels from June.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane: 8.912 million barrels (287,484 b/d), up 403,000 barrels from June;
· Isobutane: 11.73 million barrels (378,837 b/d), an increase of 519,000 barrels;
· Natural gasoline: 14.812 million barrels (477,806 b/d), an 816,000 barrel increase.
